Surgery Scheduling Fee?

My insurance coordinator takes forever to get back with me on my questions, so I figured I would post me question here to hopefully get a quicker response.

What is a surgery scheduling fee? My insurance covers my surgery 100%, so is this just something the doctor's office is throwing in there to make more money?

My insurance pays 100% but I had to pay $25 dollars for 2 nights in the hospital. I have Tricare Prime.
