Smoking

So i need to stop smoking for a month before my sleeve surgery and i use to smoke like 12 cigs a day! Today was my first day trying to quit and i failed and smoked 2 cigs......i feel so disappointed in myself my follow up appointment is on the 16th of febuary and was hoping to be able to tell doctor that i quit 30 days ago but guess not now! I really want this surgery for my health problems! Any tips on quitting this bad habit of mine.

I bought one and when I started the process to quit smoking, started doing the step challenges. Any time I got an urge, I would literally walk it off til it passed. Helped me in the first week big time, plus got extra exercise in.

When I found out I got approved for the Sleeve in October that was a life changing moment and decided Nov 1st would be my last day smoking and I quit cold turkey.I just had my mind made up I want a healthy lifestyle and this surgery being approved was a gift for a new life.Also the thought of blood clots really freaked me out.If you put your mind to it you can do I had smoked a pack a day for the last 20 years.You can do it!

I quit 2 years ago cold turkey! My trick was I got the flu from 2 lil monsters. I was sick for 2 weeks in which during that time I stopped smoking because I was ill.
