I'm concerned about diet for myself. I am a very picky eater, no salad, fruit, oatmeal, greens etc... Not sure what I'm gonna do before and after my procedure. Suggestions?

I am the same way. But since I had surgery on the 11th things are sweeter sometimes too sweet. I hear that your taste buds change so just be open minded and try things again. That's my plan once I am off all liquids.

There are several bariatric cookbooks on Amazon that are reasonable. Some of the recipes sound good to me! I am a very picky eater as well.

I think it boils down to... how bad do you want this??? With or without surgery, you'll have to make sacrifices and adjustments for massive weight loss.

I am scheduled for 1/30 ! I also have been thinking about foods post op ... I have never liked yogurt but am willing to give it a try ...I have to because this is too important to me

Following this, cause me too!! I just started my pre-op liquids and sheesh I can't stand jello! But I'm hoping that things will taste better/different after surgery, especially since you're basically going cold-turkey on the carbs. Not sure what will happen with my texture issues, but if at least my tastes were better, that would be an improvement

I agree it's important and I'm willing to try as hard as possible. With that said it's easy to say you just have to do it, but if you don't like something it's not that easy. I too have a texture issue and some things I just can't stomach.
