    I got switched over there from Oakwood Dearborn because of date conflicts. I originally wanted to do Royal Oak too but thru wouldn't recognize my 6 month diet program that was medically supervised. Would have delayed me another 6 months. I did use one of their recommend psychs though.

    When my wife had her heart attack 6 years ago we had the stint put in at Oakwood. It was run down looking (they were using the bathroom in her room as storage), the food was horrible and the staff was not very pleasant. I have heard that since Beaumont took over things have gotten much, much, much better. I had my RNY done at St. Mary Mercy in Livonia.
