Surgery date 2/7/2017

Hey everyone, so I just got my surgery date. And I must admit I am very nervous and executed.

Initially I had wanted to get the sleeve done but my surgeon insists that bypass is better for long term results. I am looking for long term results but the bypass procedure is a bit more invasive than the sleeve and that works my nerves.

I just wanted to share that I got my date! #fistpumps. #teamfeburary

Congratulations! I was sleeved 5/23/16 and converted to bypass 10/26/16. I much prefer the bypass, but I had horrible reflux with the sleeve. If I had it to do over again, I would have definitely skipped the sleeve! Best wishes to you on your journey!

Six months of weight management classes, 2 support groups, clearance from the psychiatrist , cardiologist and and PFT. I could not gain weight.. I had to either loose or maintain. Sorry for the delayed response. Best of luck to you on your journey.
