You shouldn't. We are told not to eat and drink. It was something that was made clear to me by my bariatric team and by the written materials I was give.

Its been stressed to me to never eat and drink at the same time. But every teams approach is different. Maybe a sip here and there if it's something dry but i really don't make a habit of it. It's uncomfortable and i noticed times when i could do it without issue i didn't stay full as long. Which doesn't sit well with me because thinking up meals and preparing things has become a chore. So the less food i have to think about eating the better lol.
