So, I'm turning 26 soon and I need to get new insurance. One of the biggest factors in my choice is trying to figure the best options for me getting vsg. So I was considering getting Kaiser's Detuctible Silver HMO 1750/40. I was wondering if any of you had this and knew the cost involved. Any help would be extremely appreciated. Thank you for reading. I am unsure of that plan but I know for the platinum plan the online estimate says $290 total cost. I think the best thing you could do is call and ask them. I went with the platinum so I could save as much money as possible. The surgery itself can cost up to $60k completely out of pocket. That doesn't count all of the doctors visits required before and after either... I am also in California, but Nor Cal, I don't think there's a difference though.
