1 WEEK POST OP-bruising, swelling and pain

Hi guys! So i wanted to find out from the veteran sleevers is pain and bruising normal 7 days postop.

The day of surgery my dr had to go back in and place a drain due to a hematoma i developed.

It was removed this past Wednesday. I have developed bruising where the drain was and its still painful. My stomach is also very swollen. Is this normal? Thank you in advance!

    My swelling and bruising didn't go away till to day.. im 12 days post op.. still have a little bruising but does not hurt anymore.. Saw surgeon yesterday and she said no wonder your so sore from all that bruising.. i was like it's 90% gone now.. hang in there it gets better
