Lobster broth the day before and for my meal before my liquid diet I had 6 bacon wrapped shrimp.

  • My "last supper" was a baked brie with quince paste and figs, followed by a rib eye steak, cooked rare, with mushroom sauce and a garden salad. Oh, and a few cocktails.

  • We went to The Melting Pot. I had never been and it was a super fun last meal! Started the next morning on pre-op liquids!

I don't have to be on strictly liquid diet until the day before my surgery. I've had all sorts of delicious things and still lost 34 lbs in 4 weeks and still have a week to go before my surgery is set. I know I will still have delicious things after. I don't want to go overboard with a last supper but I do want to have my goodbyes. I'm from New Orleans and my last supper will include King cake. Just not sure what else.

I had a 3 cheese grilled cheese , I did not want to have too big of a meal but I wanted something that would be scrumptious, and it was...lol !!
