What is this?

I have a pain in my complete left side of my abdomen. It goes from the top of my hip to behind my rib and just floats around. Whenever I try to lay down I have to physically move it out of the way or change the position I'm laying in. I can hear it moving if I sit up or lay down to fast. It stops me from sitting all the way up sometimes because it won't allow me or sitting on the toilet because it won't let me bend it can be extremely painful but once it moves out of the way it's fine. I wake up with pain like I'm stuffed to the max but I have eaten in 10hrs, it's just the bubble or bubbles behind my pouch .What is it going to go away, it's so uncomfortable? I was told to try walking and I have, I walk aleast a mile aday just trying to get this bubble to go away. Not to mention the daily walking around the house. What is this? Rny 12/28/16

Maybe could be a hernia?? I'm dealing with similar pain on right side. I read that our stomachs are often stitched to something (dunno what) to prevent hernias. Have you called your dr?
