I had a fill (1st) on Friday and the Dr. had a hard time finding the center of the port - poked me 3 times (thank the Lord it didn't hurt) but with all the pokes and the prodding to find the fill spot I am very sore and have a hard lump about the size of a golf ball that I feel at the port site.

Anyone else ever have this problem? Also no restriction either

Something like that happened to my mother (who is banded), about a year ago. Made her really not want to get another fill. She switched doctors and the new doc is much better at port finding!

:paranoidthis is for all the june 2007 bandsters on this forum.we are in september now ,and i would like to know how much weight have you all lost.so far i've lost only 26 lbs.i'm such a slow loser.i'm doing everything i can to get the weight off.anybody else?but still i wouldn't trade my band for anything else.
