Introducing Myself

Hi Everyone-

I just wanted to introduce myself. I had the lap band surgery three days ago. The surgery was quick and now on to the fun part. The thing I am having the most trouble with is the gas pain in my chest. Any one else have this very bad?

    My gas pain wasn't bad until day 6 and 7 -- those were the worst, but then it was gone. Gas-X strips helped a lot...

    Walking, Heating Pad, Gas-X (regularly), Pain meds. Do it all. This too shall pass. I had virtually ZERO discomfort from the surgery site. ALL my discomfort was from the gas. I think it was pretty much gone in about 2 weeks. Welcome to bandland! You're gonna LOVE it!
