I'm 4 days out... today was better than others... I drank a whole Premier shake.. it took all day... a couple spoons of sf Jello.. chicken broth for lunch... 2-3 ounces n same for dinner... very little Water I think about 4 ounces of water... n 2 ounces of Gatorade zero

I'm 5 days post op and it's very hard to get my liquids in...my Husband is concerned that I'm getting dehydrated and I probably am but it hurts to drink in bigger portions...I'm sorta scared that I'm doing something wrong...I know each day will get better as I heal but I honestly didn't know it was going to be this hard

The first week I was working all day just trying to make my Fluid goals and get a little Protein in. Just keep at it, sip sip sip all day. Fluid is most important, protein is 2nd important, and calories don't really matter for the first couple of weeks according to my surgeon.
