H Pylori

I just learned I have H pylori so I have to take 2 antibiotics and an acid reducer. 8 pills a day! Feeling a little queasy after the first dose. I had no symptoms, they found it while doing the EGD.

I had my EGD and my test was negative for H pylori. However, it showed chronic gastritis (inflammation). They tried to give me Prilosec but, I refused it because of the recent finding side effects: KIDNEY FAILURE.

I began taking a healthier approach which is Nature's Sunshine Gastro Health. It's not a synthetic drug but a natural healer. I hope that when they check me again before surgery everything will be fine. I'm not big on popping pills but when I do, I like natural and organic meds. Doctors are too quick to push the market drugs on patients regardless of the side effects...you must do your research!

H pylori is serious...If left untreated it can cause ulcers and even cancer. The antibiotics are strong...make sure you have eaten enough before taking them.

At least, they found it and your on your way to healing.
