I am two days post op and doing okay so far. Incision pain is manageable with Tylenol, and not much gas as I have been sipping warm tea. My surgery was delayed because my potassium levels were low.

I am now 17 days post op. Went back to work on day 7. A little fatigue some days but not having issues getting in Protein or Water. Aside from being able to eat less and mild incision pain this was so much easier than I anticipated. No buyers remorse at all. So far I'm down 12 lbs. I hope all of you are doing well post op and pre op...it will be over before you know it. Make sure to walk as much as you can in the hospital...it sucks getting up from the bed but once you get going you will be fine. I did laps around the nurses station between doses of pain meds :P If any of you will be at St. Bernadine in Riverside...they are awesome!!

I am 19 days post op and moving on to mushy food tomorrow. How is everyone doing with their post op diet? Today was the first time I threw up after eating a spoonfull of scrambled eggs two small pieces of potato and an inch piece of bakon. I find that if i don't drink my Vitamins and Protein in the mornings my energy levels are very low. Other than that ive been walking anywhere from 30 min to an hour every day and feeling good.

Sleeved yesterday! Pain not to terrible but nausea is. I'm able to get up and walk around, put my shoes on, etc. still on IV pain meds so I think that helps a lot. I'm completely exhausted and have a hard time keeping awake but so far I'm doing great emotionally.
