Hi, I was banded on November 7th 2006, and currently have lost 111 lbs. I am very happy with the band, however, i am still experiencing a lot of the mental issues that go along with it. I still want to eat like I used to and obviously my body won't let me do that, but overall I am very glad I had it done.

Welcome!! Congratulations on your weight loss!

Check out the support threads that deal with more of the head work you are talking about. I don't think it is unusual in any way, considering how most of us became heavy to begin with!!

There's lots of support here. Glad you could join us and give us some of your personal experiences since you have been there!
