nocturnal Pulse Ox Study question

I have this pulse ox to wear at night for a nocturnal study to see if I need a sleep study. Only problem is that I don't see how they expect this thing to stay on my finger? I woke up in the middle of the night and it had come off who knows when and the machine had shut off. Anybody else had this problem or have advice?

Maybe try to put in on a toe with no nail polish and then try to put a sock on to keep it in place. Or just tape that pulse ox down really good onto a finger and put a sock on you hand. Make sure you have no nail polish on that finger/toe.
