On the Home Stretch!

I saw the psychologist today and have been cleared for surgery. Next step is to hear from the nurse regarding testing I'll have to do, and once I get the results back from that (about a week), they'll schedule me an appointment to set my surgery date! They said surgeries are scheduled about 3 weeks out at the moment, so that means I'm 6 weeks away or so, depending on how fast I get all of my testing done. I couldn't be more excited.

I wasn't sure about this for a while, I started this process back in February. But after my boyfriend dumped me due to his severe depression, and realizing how much he dragged me down into depression with him, I have been feeling much better, and have been taking this change very seriously. I'm ready to better myself and put myself first. I can't wait to have this tool to help me do so.
