I'm 3 months post-op and recently switched over from my chewable multivitamins to some prenatal multivitamins to get the added iron and folic acid which is supposed to be really important for bariatric patients, but they have been making me incredibly nauseaus and every time I take one I feel like I'm about to throw up. I haven't had any problems taking pill form vitamins before, and I'm taking my vitamin B12 and calcium regularly. Has anyone else experienced this? What multivitamin do you take daily that fits the bariatric requirements? Any recommendations for good ones? I prefer pill or capsule form rather than chewable and would like something completely tasteless and odourless (the prenatal ones had a really strong smell and taste even though they were in pill form, it wasn't very pleasant :/ ). Thanks!
