How far out are you? I am way behind most people on what I can tolerate, I had my surgery 5+ weeks ago and the thought of eating meat just sounds terrible to me. I am still struggling with protein shakes, yogurt, cottage cheese, soup, a scrambled egg here and there. Everyone is different, take it slow. Your system isn't ready for that yet, meat is hard for a lot of people to handle.

Yes I think I rushed it. I'm 5 weeks out be have tolerated everything really well. My NUT. gave me lean meats, eggs, cheese on my list, so I though turkey meatloaf was soft. It tasted great but for about 20 30 minutes after I did not feel well. I was not in pain but nauseous and broke out into a sweat. I am tolerating canned meat well, tuna, chicken with a little mayo. Cheese is fine. I'm going to try eggs tonight for dinner.
