6 weeks post gastric sleeve

I had Gastric sleeve done October 24, 2016. I am glad to say I have lost 47 lbs since my preop diet started on October 10th. Just curious what results others have had at this point and if what I have lost is about average or above average;))) TIA

I understand the urge to have some unit of relative measurement, but the truth is that we all lose weight at our own pace. If you start with a very high bodyweight, you drop more of it much more quickly at the beginning. People who start with low BMIs, lose more slowly. If you want to know the averages, at six months post-sleeve, the average weight loss is 80 pounds.
