If you are only getting in 300 calories per day, I would guess you are not hitting your Protein goals. That needs to be your priority, along with hydration.

That said, the other thing you are possibly doing wrong is having expectations about the rate of weight loss that are out of whack with reality. Put aside the first three weeks -- all sorts of weird things happen as your body recovers from surgery. Some people lose really fast, others don't lose at all. But it sorts itself out after a while, and I have to say that having been around this board for over 4 years now, losing 5 lbs every couple weeks is on the fast side of normal. So stop beating yourself up and start patting yourself on the back as you work towards that protein goal. Good luck!

Help! I am 3 weeks post op.

Lost 20 lbs in two weeks and this last week gained 2 and lost 2! So that takes me back to my weight at2 weeks post op.

I know this stall is normal but I am freaking g out.

I truly thought weight loss would be fast and furious!

I have upped my Water and Protein and I am in gym every morning...

What else can I do?!?

It's the 3 week stall, just a reality, learn to live with it, but stay on program. Mine lasted about 8 or 9 days, I didn't lose an ounce e. Then it started up again and has been steady.

But you already know about, so why are you venting.

Why freak out about something you know is normal. I was never the expectation that weight loss would be fast and furious. It is better for you body to lose slowly. This is a lifelong journey so you might as well enjoy it.
