Hi
I had gastric bypass surgery 16 years ago by a doctor in South Africa who has since been struck off the medical roll and this operation is now deemed illegal.
I weighed 130 kg at the time of my surgery.6 months ago I weighed 52kg.I had never looked me felt so good in my life.I fitted in my 13year old daughters clothes.
Six months later (now ) I have started to get swollen and fat and flabby.
My once skinny thighs and no bum are wobbly fat and swollen now.my stomach is always bloated and I feel far and ugly again. None of my clothes fit me again and I refuse to buy bigger ones.
The pharmacist says it looks like lymphedema and varicose veins.
Can anyone explain to me why this happened and how I can get skinny again. Some people thought I looked anorexic but I was so happy. I don't even want to go out the house anymore.it's affecting many aspects of my life????
