I just want to personally thank everyone who has joined this group, when I made it I never really thought people would actually join, to be honest after having it for a few hours and nobody joining I was contemplating deleting it and then you all started to respond and for that I am very grateful. I like many of you are still pretty new to this site and for days I just skimmed through everything never writing or commenting on anything and then finally I decided to just give it a shot, see what happened and now I think I'm posting to much! Haha, I'm so happy to the people I've met that I now talk to on a normal basis and whether you have support in your real life or not, you all who joined this group will always have an online support here, even if down the road you decide not to use this site as much or maybe even at all if you ever have a question or need to vent or anything at all, I hope that we will all always been here for that! At 23 years old I don't have many people in my life that I've confided to about my surgery, my family knows of course and my best friends know but its very hard to tell other people in my life especially my age cause most of them just look at you with the what the *beep* look cause they don't understand, especially when they have been skinny and look great their whole life, nor do I know anybody who has had this surgery besides my mom and that was 13 years ago so things have kinda changed haha so I really am so grateful for this and I can't wait to go on this journey together! I may have started this group but it is definitely not my group it is OUR group! So always feel free to post whatever! So thank you all, I know its going to be a great journey to a better us!
