2 weeks post op..

Hey guys! today I am 2 weeks post op I am finally feeling comfortable enough to lay on both sides... Does anyone have recommendations for belly laying at this point? I want to try but don't want to hurt myself internally.

Had my 1 week post op last Tuesday and found out I lost a whopping 22 pounds in the first 8 days! Which was soo exciting!! The doctor didn't seem concerned like I had lost too much. I am now anxious to step on the scale at my next appointment next week. I cannot wait to get on soft foods. I cannot seem to find a Protein shake I like. Most are too sweet or too chalky. The only one I liked was the Core Power strawberry banana they gave me in the hospital, which of course I cannot find anywhere in a store in my area. So I am having issue getting in all my protein. I am doing well with Water though. I get my liquids in every day.

Next week I think they will move me on to soft foods.. I cannot wait to get some mashed cauliflower! I have been only able to eat sweets and I am about ready for something savory.

Not sure about laying on the belly you really don't want to put any pressure on your abdomen and the premier Protein shakes are pretty tasty, watch the sweets you want to minimize your sugar intake, but congratulations on your lose that is awesome! I am now 3 weeks post op and enjoy trying the soft foods ????

Thank you! and congrats to you! how do you feel? What are you eating for soft foods. And I eat everything sugar free and caffeine free but even the sugar free stuff and the protein shakes taste way too sweet. I know my tastes have changed already. I tried to eat some soup and it was like a spoonful of salt in my mouth. i took one bite and put the rest away. So I am afraid to try anything else along those lines.
