Thanksgiving

Okay so bird day is coming up and I'm the cook. (Hosting some current and former Army friends). Now I'm obviously gonna make the traditional stuff for them, but I obviously can't eat the dressing or a lot of the other stuff. So what do y'all do for turkey day for yourselves? Eat only the turkey?

To be honest, I'm probably going to follow the same daily plan that day that I follow every other day.

Turkey and wls friendly sides - green bean casserole, sweet potatoe (without the marshmallows or carmalized glaze), pearl onions, homemade cranberry all come to mind. Skip the rolls and stuffing.

I plan to have a slice of turkey 1 bite of everything else. Save the rolls.

Yup. Me too.
