Stiches

So I have had a rash around every incision and they won't break down I was allergic to the stitches. Today I was rubbing one and I felt a popping feeling. Has anyone had this from the stitches needing to be run to break down.

You left the hospital with stitches? Not steri- strips?

Very uncommon to be allergic to stitches. Not impossible. Just RARE!

It's internal stitches. I'm allergic to latex so they had to use. Different stitch which caused a huge rash. It's has sucks so bad even the docs haven't seen that happen before but I so have chronic hives and have allergies all the time for the last 6 months. The issues was wondering about was the feeling the the stitches popping inside.

I'm allergic to latex, as well. Steri strips after a section sent me into my first full blown anaphylactic reaction

Thankfully they've developed ones now that are latex-free!

I'm allergic to latex and Steri stripes. They had to glue me. But if you have any pain, redness and swelling, that is probably an infection. If it's just itching, cleanse with soap and Water and apply a cold compress
