Pre op diet

I'm having reversal from band to RNY on 22nd Nov. I start the milk diet on Monday and am allowed 3 pints of milk and 2 yogurts daily. The problem is that I hate (with a vengeance) yogurt. Do you think it would be ok to have a non dairy no sugar coconut yogurt (made from coconut milk) instead? I'm beginning to feel nervous too.

I would check with your dietician. I've never heard of the milk diet. I have a milk aversion so I would not have been able to do it. The point is low carb so i would compare the stats of the two. I hated the optifast shakes they wanted me to do so I found another shake with comparable stats and the dietician was ok with it,
