This is my second day in recovery I have colace gel tablets the doctor suggested I puncture the tablets but it's disgusting I keep vomiting. Any suggestions? Can I take them whole?

I took regular old pills. They're small enough to swallow. You should be able to take them whole. Your doc just doesn't want them to get stuck but unless it's a GIANT pill that isn't going to happen.

It's a small red pellet size gel capsule

They gave me liquid colace. OMG, almost thought it was paint stripper. Not taking it again. Went into a 30 minute coughing fit which has me hurting.
