Not sure I'm strong enough

Last week I finally scheduled my procedure for December 15th. This week my husband and I have started talking divorce. I'm not sure if I can handle both major life changes at the same time. Some times life really sucks!

  • Thank you all for your support! I am going through with the surgery! It's scheduled for the 15th of December. Come hell or high water as my mom use to say, I going to make this happen for me!

  • I'm sorry. If it were me, I'd do it. Even though it's not easy, the changes are positive ones. But you have to do what's right for you. *hug*

  • I would definitely go through with the surgery. Whatever trials and tribulations come your way in life, you'll deal with them more effectively with better health and enhanced self-confidence. Good

I'm going through a divorce as well. I just filled 2 weeks ago. You can do it! I'm finding that my preparation for surgery and doing all the research I can has become a great distraction. Each day becomes easier than the last. I have post it notes all over my bathroom with positive affirmations which has helped a great deal. It is a reminder of why I left and how better my life is/will be!

I'm a great listener if you ever need anyone to talk to.

Yeah my situation was quite crazy too. But I feel so much better I just learned to let the stupid stuff roll away and I'm enjoying life I'm able to pay my bills and be a great dad to my little girl. Not going to let one person ruin all that. No matter what.

Also don't forget not only are you going to feel better. You'll be able to do more enjoy life more you'll be able to get into places you never thought about. And you'll feel like finding someone that cares about you more. I know with my weight I settled for someone who really didn't care about me and when you feel better you'll be able to find someone that cares about you not how you look but about the person you are. So just keep in mind that surgery will change your whole life not just your weight.
