Weight on after surgery

I had surgery 2 days ago. Lost 16lbs. Pre op diet and done everything I am supposed to since surgery. I eat very little cause it's so uncomfortable (liquid diet) I put on 8lbs. Since surgery and a lot of pain near an incision. Is this normal??

Try a compression test shirt for the incision pain. It reallyhelped me. I already had it it was made by "genie" i wore it or 10 days. Spanks make one a too. Don't spend a lot of money on it. Mine as under $20. I think I got it at Target.
