    Absolutely! Do your thing! I just can't imagine being given the nod for alcohol a month out. My stomach wasn't even fully healed yet.

  • I didn't touch a drink until 9 months later. Only had 4oz or so and that was it. It felt like I drank 5 drinks but I was ok. Definitely don't have any till some time later. Unfortunately friends do

I am drinking a decent amount now. I began drinking 15 months after my operation and I had to rebuild my tolerance. I have had 8 beers one night... Lots of fun... I think you should consult with your doctor. I drink a hefty amount once or twice a month ... Other than that I'll have a shot of vodka or scotch on Friday evenings and I'm fine
