Abdominal Swelling???

Just curious as to how long before the abdominal swelling begins going down? I hate this bloated belly of mine. It feels like the same belly after my daughter was born.

My belly was not bloated at all. I had some gas, but it was gone about 3-4 days post-op. I am almost 4 weeks out. I do notice some swelling around my port, though. It's not bad.

I was swollen for a couple of weeks, but it does definatly go away!

Same here, some swelling but maybe for 1 week. I still cant wear fitted jeans, cause the sitting with the waistband on my stomach still hurts, but other than that. Its all good.

I'm one week post-op, and I gained seven pounds during surgery (all gone now). I also gained SIX INCHES in my waist (still here).

I look like a Weeble.

They're not kidding when they tell you to wear loose clothes to the hospital. I'm still sweltering in SWEATS, because nothing else fits.
