Help! I think I'm dying

Whoever can help me please!! I am so worried I think I'm going to be seriously ill. I had my sleeve on 9/22 i haven't been able to eat or keep anything down.... i vomit everything. I'm afraid I'm dehydrated. I called my doctor he told me that eventually it will get better and to try to get some Water in. But I'm seeing everyone here eating and being ok is this normal?

  • Go to the ER.

My husband had gastric bypass couldn't hold anything down. Of course a stubborn man so wouldn't make a drs appt. finally I won the battle to go to doc and found out he had already formed a large amount of scar tissue, surgery and then 2. Months later back in surgery again. That was a year ago. He is doing better now, thank goodness. Here's the real bad part. He was at work with his office door closed, he explained to me it felt like it did before the other 2 surgeries to fix his issue. He passed out in his office. We have no idea how long he was unconscious but I'll cut it short. Extremely dehydrated and had zero potassium in his body. They said that if he didn't come in when he did to the ER he could have passed away. It took him being admitted and 4 days of IV to get his potassium back up to normal levels... it won't hurt to get checked out... go now

Hey guys,

I went to the hospital and in fact I was dehydrated. They did a scan for my stomach and everything looked fine and normal. My doctor told me to take pepsid .... I don't know why I don't have acid. But he said it will help me feel better. I feel sick and tired all the time not to forget that I'm nauseous every morning and throughout the day. I can't eat anything or golpéate anything every time I try I start vomiting. I can take Water only with sips little by little. How long am I going to feel like this ? My doctor says it's normal that no one recovers the same and this will be temporary. I didn't think it will be like this! I want to loose weight but not feeling like this on daily basis..... I feel like crap every day.

It can take a bit to feel better. Keep going slow and steady. It will get better. I can't say how long for you. Have you tried putting unflavored protien in your water?(if you are alowed) Once I started doing that, I began feeling much better. I use Genepro. Taking the pepcid can help even if you don't feel the acid. Hang in there it will get better
