can anyone tell me a cost of lap band and doctors in toronto

about $15K to $20K that is why I went to MExico for 1/2 the price. Was worth it and the care was fabulous.

Hi puppy, was banded by Toronto Laparascopic Band Centre (Dr. Yau) 3 weeks ago. Cost was 16K plus 530 for overnight stay (sleep apnea). The 16k covers lifetime fills/defills. Good luck to you!

:welcome:

Mine was done by Dr. Cobourn in Mississauga. I had a lot of complications from a previous cancer surgery, so that is why I opted for him, in case I needed emergency aftercare.

It was $16,000, it was done on August 15th and went off without a hitch. I am really happy with the aftercare too. They have fantastic nurses and a dietitian that follows up regularly.

Here is a link to lapbandtalk's Canadian portion of the forum which has lots of great threads, I found it super helpful before I decided on the band and Dr. Cobourn.

I was banded Aug. 16 by Dr. L Tin, chief of surgery at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga for $15,000 which includes fills. I was released from hospital the same day. There isn't any dietician or nutritionist followup but Dr. Tin was very helpful about eating etc. I think I can find out anything I need to know about diet from this forum.
