Diet progression question.

Hi.

I'm about 4 weeks out from my surgery. I'll be finished with the blended food on Tuesday.

Next, I can eat solid moist food. They gave me example but I wanted to know what you were able to eat 4 weeks post-op.

They also told me it would be 6 months before I could have a half a sandwich or 4 ounces of steak.

Is this the case for you?

With the 2 week pre-op diet and the 4 weeks post-op diet, I'm starting to feel the strain of not eating small but healthy regular meals.

Do you have any feedback?

I was eating soft foods at 4 weeks. Tuna salad, chicken salad, scrambled eggs, deli turkey, boiled eggs, soft cooked veggies, cheese, etc. All in very small meals.

Steak is hard to digest and was told to wait 4 mths and only have a tenderloin/filet cut. Bread, Pasta and rice are highly discouraged during weightloss phase.
