I had surgery Monday the 3rd and the BEST ADVICE I can give you is to sip and walk walk walk walk walk... Even when you don't want to! Walk walk walk! Good luck to you!

Definitely walk, walk, walk! Walking will help with any gas pains you have. I'm almost 6 months post op and I still like to walk after a meal. It always makes me feel better.

You'll do wonderful!

Less than 48 hours until my surgery! I'm such a nervous wreck!!!!

Mine is Monday as well! Started the liquid diet today! I thought the 800 calorie diet was bad, I am starving! Haha

Good luck to you all!

And thank you all for sharing advice!

If anyone else has any tips for us, please share! We could all use the positive motivation right now.

You will do just fine. The pain isnt that bad, just make communicate when your hurting and they will make you comfortable.
