I was sleeved on 9/22/16 and before surgery I was on Metformin (prediabetes Dx 12/2015)and Diovan Hctz (HBP Dx 2003). I am now off of both medicines and only need a diuretic. I think I will always be someone who retains Water, but it's better than the alternative;). The main reason I did this surgery was for my health and I've gotten that back! It's not always easy, but it's worth it!!!
