Just getting started

Hi everyone. I am just getting started with my journey. Im hoping to have surgery in December. I want to get started on Protein drinks and shakes and I am wondering what brand people recommend either premade or powder. Also what is the average amount of protein that should be in each drink?

I have been using Biotrust powder, but also really like the Inspire Mexican Chocolate that Bariatric Eating has. Many like premixed protein drinks, too. I try to have 60 grams protein/day--part protein drinks and part protein like on chicken or other sources. I'm nearly 6 months out and still trying to get everything right. Hope everything goes well for you!

I only use Premier Protein ready made shakes. They have 30 grams of protein, 160 calories and 1 gram of sugar. Because they are pre-made there is not fuss, no muss. Also no grit and they dont stink like most protein drinks I think because of the design of the container they come in.
