After 3 weeks

Well my question is after I graduate from being on pureed foods for 3 weeks next Wednesday and will be starting soft foods for 4 weeks after. What do you suggests ? Which sorts food? Because let me tell you I so have a taste for my homemade chicken noodle Soup. Will that be OK? I also read that salmon Andy fish will be good. How about bake or boiled chicken?

After my RNY gastric bypass surgery, as I transitioned from Full liquids to pureed Foods and then finally to Solid Foods, I found the softer foods such as chili and Soups went down much easier than solid foods such as steak and chicken. I developed my own recipes for homemade high Protein chili and soups. They are at the end of the following article. http://www.breadandbutterscience.com/Surgery.pdf

I've been told chicken soup with noodles or rice are no-nos for RNY post-op. Best check with others to be sure

I'm 4 weeks pre op RNY and currently on soft foods. No Pasta, bread, grains. I've tried a small bite size if steak this week and tolerated it well. It just depends on what your surgeon suggests for you.
