I read a post here that contained a linked to a video demonstrating why you cannot drink immediately after eating.
In the video, which used a container, and a funnel filled with applesauce, they showed that adding liquid quickly empties the stomach of food masking you hungry again.
I asked my doctor about this. He said this was not the case. If you drink liquid after eating, the food will not be pushed into your intestines any quicker.
The liquid will enter your stomach and have no place to go. It won't make you vomit but it will cause your.bag to increase in size. Something we do not want to happen.
I thought I'd share this information with you.
