Just Starting

Consult with surgeon Friday, he said I would be an excellent candidate. I have to drive about 200 miles for my appointments. Pretty nervous about the whole insurance deal after reading other posts.

I have been a yo-yo dieter for more than 3/4 of my life, 2 years ago I weighed 140lbs doing the Body 4 Life program, which I really liked, just got very burned out. Today I'm 5'7/261lbs and ready for a life change!!;)

Welcome to the forum. You will find so much information and support here. Me and my husband are on the banding countdown... scheduled for surgery Oct. 1. I hope this is the yo-yo answer for us too. Best of luck, keep us informed of your progress. Mary
