5 1/2 mos Post op pics

So- here I am 5 1/2 mos post op. I still have another 40 to go to hit my goal, but I'm so happy with what has been the most amazing journey, so far.

I took these today in my sisters bathroom lol. I didn't want to ask anyone to take a pic of me- would have felt silly.

I can't wait to hit goal...just to know I CAN do anything with dedication, determination and hard work. It's not the easy way out. I work out constantly, follow my plan, and rely upon all of you in the community to keep me motivated. I thank you.

The last pic - This was me for a professional publication profile pic at my heaviest

I am almost 3 weeks Post Op and have only lost about 10 pounds, is this normal. I guess I expected to lose more. You look fabulous!!!!

Every one is different. Try not to make comparisons. You are still recovering from surgery and you may still have a lot of inflamation and gas from the surgery. Keep following the plan and next week you'll probably drop 10 pounds in one week. It will all come off as long as you follow your plan. Be patient.

Absolutely! Key, like @@1Day1Life4Now said, we are all different. We ALL think " will I be the one this doesn't help?"

Following your plan, getting your Protein, and expending energy via walking, whatever, will get you there. Trust the process. But STICK to it.

Good luck. We are all here cheering for you!
