Over eating?

So I am 2 weeks post op and I'm on puree foods so I had a 1/2 cup of mashed potatoes, I had them and they were delicious but I ate them and don't feel full really? Is this normal

  • I got full on 4-5 bites of mashed potatoes. Everyone is different. Try having some protein before the potatoes and you will feel more satisfied.

  • Mashed potatoes slide right through. They won't fill you up Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  • Ok thanks I only ask cause I'm afraid about over eating and throwing up, before I knew when I was full just afraid I'll miss the signs Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App

try a scrambled egg!

I get full on like 2 small bites of mashed potato. I think it sits different in different people. Also, I can eat a lot sooner after mashed potatoes than I can denser food like peas and oatmeal.
