6 days until surgery

Am I the only one who isn't feeling too nervous about the surgery? I'm more so anxious than nervous. I cannot wait. I'm ready for Tuesday to be here.

  • I too am oddly super calm and in a zone. I'm ready like never in my life for anything as ready as I am for this. I'm done with high sugars, insulin shots that only put on more weight and recurrent UTI

  • I'm Tuesday too and feel the same. I'm ready mentally and excited too. I have had 8 days pre-op so far and list 14lbs or 1 stone in our UK money! And it had motivated me to what can be archived. Good

I used the MyFitnessPal app and followed a 1,200 calories a day diet which included getting in 80-90g of protein a day. I, also, drank between 64 and 128 ounces of water a day. Plus walking anywhere between 1.5 and 3 miles a day. I started the diet on March 22, 2916 after I attended the first nurse education class which was part of my program. You can do it!! ????

All went well, thanks God, started walking the same day, i was home two days after the surgery, now on liquid diet 100cc every hour and a half, doing some walking and respiratory exercises. Not much pain since i left the hospital, there i was medicated so was no pain at all, now without pain medicine just a little. I feel good, i will move on to the post op group. Just to let you know all went good.
