Always hungry

I feel actual hunger every couple hours. In order to get my water in I have to drink then wait 30 minutes then eat then wait 30 minutes then drink then wait 30 then eat... And so on all day. I feel like I'm always hungry unless I'm eating this often. Anyone else?

That's where I'm at right now, too. I'm almost three weeks out. Feels like my entire life is devoted to eating and drinking. I'm assuming this will get better as I'm able to eat more normally (am just up to soft foods). However, surgeon said he give me a prescription for an appetite suppressant if I'm still this hungry at my next appt. in three weeks. For the record, eating tons of protein and shakes only helps for about an hour or so. Oh, well. So it goes. ????

Nope.

I've yet to experience hunger like I did when I was pre-op.

That being said.....this is so long as I eat meats and vegetables. If I add in anything like chips, candy, sweets.....then there will be predictable cycle of cravings that starts within 30 mins and it leads to wanting to graze and snack.

Keeping it to just the 3 meals of meats and vegetables and I have zero hunger.

A couple of cups of coffee spaced out during the day really helps, too.
