One week away from firsts appt.

So I have my very first appointment next Tuesday. It's my appointment with my PCM to tell her that I want to get gastric bypass surgery. I feel nervous. I have Tricare. How has anybody else's first appointments gone with their PCM? Did they try to talk you out of it? Do they even have a say in whether you can get gastric bypass or not?

I am So excited for you! Your journey is just beginning...

My Primary care doctor Helped quite a lot to get it approved and has been happy for my improved health although he personally did not express an opinion either way as to my choice.

I wish you the very best!
