Exercise during recovery

Hello!

I know I should ask my surgeon, but my preop meeting with him isn't for two more weeks. I'd hate to bother him with this now. I had to have my gallbladder out 5 days ago and I'm getting antsy just sitting around. The lap sites are similar to the ones for the sleeve.

I'm curious about what our limitations are as far as weights go. Is it ok to use small 3 lb weights while walking or just sitting and watching tv to help get a head start on working my arms out?

I would say stay away from any weight training until you officially get the okay from your surgeon.....you incisions on the outside may look fine but the inside is another story. I'd hold off on the weights until you ask him. Good luck!!
