On the run

Anyone have any ideas of foods to take with you when your on the run? I am usually really busy running errands during the day. My nutritionist told me to do 2 meat meals with vegetables, no fruit or starchy vegetables and 2 Adkins shakes.

lunch is the hardest thing to plan for. Does anyone have any suggestions?

cheese (sorry I don't do low fat cheese), jerkey (watch out some is high sugar/carbs), cold cuts like roast beef or lean ham. Wendy's chili, Arby's roast beef without the bread, grilled chicken sandwich without the bread, etc. etc. strawberries, peaches, apples but not to excess.

I often stop at the market for 2-3 slices of lunnch meeat and cheeese. I work from my car most days and it's too hot to carry a cooler.

The cost is maybe $2 max. I make my own little roll ups and enjoy! I do full fat, full flavor cheeese and meeats. Sometimes I'll grab a teeny container of olives, onions or red peppers from a salaad bar to add to my roll up.

Cheap, easy, delicious and always different if I choose.

Those look amazing, especially the buffalo-style pack. Can you eat it from the pouch, or does it have to be mixed with anything?

Here is another brand that is even better:

do you mix them with anything else? is one packet enough? Thanks!

Nope.

Simply rip the top open and grab a fork and go to town.

On pouch was a meal for me up until I hit the 6 month point. Then I started having two.
