Low Energy

Hi everyone, me again! I was sleeved on 8/8 and while I know it is normal to have low energy (especially on the two weeks post op diet), I'm wondering if anyone found anything to help with this? I feel super anxious and bored being at home but I get so tired as soon as I'm out anywhere. Just seeing if there was anything that worked for people this soon after surgery.

Thanks (as usual)

Kellie

  • It gets better as you can eat more. Part of it is the need to heal, and part is the extremely low calorie diet. Make sure you are getting in your fluids, Protein, and Vitamins. Sent from my iPhone

Thanks everyone! I woke up this morning feeling a million times better. It's like someone just flipped the energy switch! Amazing. [emoji3]

Not sure what my target is. I went through diet advancement 1.5 weeks ago so I'm eating according to that chart. No more than 4 oz in protein shakes, 1 oz of fish, chicken, deli turkey and soft veggies. No way I can get more than 300-400 calories eating that.

I started on the b12 and today I felt somewhat normal [emoji4]

Are you sure it didn't mean 4ozs of protein shake at a time - but drinking several times a day?

This! I was sleeved 08/09 and since Monday I have felt utterly fatigued. I have a stairs in my house and by the time I get to the second floor I feel winded enough that I have to sit down to recover. I think my issue is not enough calories and a lack of electrolytes (which I've been working on).
